【摘要】:Testingmachinesthatapplyandmeasuredisplacementareusedinmanyindustries.Theymaybeusedinresearchlaboratoriestodeterminematerialproperties,andinproductionlinestoqualifyproductsforshipment.Thedisplacementmeasuringdevicesintegraltothetestingmachinesmaybeusedformeasurementofcrossheadoractuatordisplacementoveradefinedrangeofoperation.TheaccuracyofthedisplacementvalueshallbetraceabletotheNationalInstituteofStandardsandTechnology(NIST)oranotherrecognizedNationalLaboratory.PracticesE2309providesaproceduretoverifythesemachinesandsystems,inorderthatthemeasureddisplacementvaluesmaybetraceable.Akeyelementtohavingtraceabilityisthatthedevicesusedintheverificationproduceknowndisplacementcharacteristics,andhavebeencalibratedinaccordancewithadequatecalibrationstandards.1.1Thesepracticescoverproceduresandrequirementsforthecalibrationandverificationofdisplacementmeasuringsystemsbymeansofstandardcalibrationdevicesforstaticandquasi-statictestingmachines.Thispracticeisnotintendedtobecompletepurchasespecificationsfortestingmachinesordisplacementmeasuringsystems.Displacementmeasuringsystemsarenotintendedtobeusedforthedeterminationofstrain.SeePracticeE83.1.2Theseproceduresapplytotheverificationofthedisplacementmeasuringsystemsassociatedwiththetestingmachine,suchasascale,dial,markedorunmarkedrecorderchart,digitaldisplay,etc.Inallcasesthebuyer/owner/usermustdesignatethedisplacement-measuringsystem(s)tobeverified.1.3Sinceconversionfactorsarenotrequiredinthispractice,eitherSIunits,orinchunits,canbeusedasthestandard.1.4Displacementvaluesindicatedondisplays/printoutsoftestingmachinedatasystems-betheyinstantaneous,delayed,stored,orretransmitted-whicharewithintheClassificationcriterialistedin,complywithPracticesE2309.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
