【摘要】:Thepurposeofthistestmethodistodeterminetheamountofgangue,refractory,inert,etc.,materials,thatmayadverselyaffectcompactingtoolsandsinteredpropertiesofcomponentsformedfromcopperandironpowders.Theinsolublematterconsistsofthosenonmetallicsubstancesthatdonotdissolveinthemineralacidusedtodissolvethemetal.Incopperpowder,whichistreatedwithnitricacid,theacid-insolublematterincludessilica,insolublesilicates,alumina,clays,andotherrefractorymaterialsthatmaybeintroducedeitherasimpuritiesintherawmaterialorfromthefurnacelining,fuel,etc.;leadsulfatemayalsobepresent.Inironpowder,whichistreatedwithhydrochloricacid,theinsolublemattermayincludecarbidesinadditiontothesubstanceslistedabove.Thetestmethodexcludesinsolublematerialthatisvolatileattheignitiontemperaturespecified.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthemineral-acid-insolublemattercontentofcopperandironpowdersinamountsunder1.0%.1.2Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyproblems,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
